Asian little gem

Grilled sugarloaf lettuce with smoked beetroot, sesame oil, sesame seeds ume, spicy cucumber, seroendeng and dried onions.

Ingredients

Little gem

goma abura (sesame oil)
Fried onions
sesame seeds with ume
Seroendeng
Smoked beetroot
spicy cucumber

Preparation

  1. Halve the little gems and cut off the base.
  2. Grill the little gems preferably on a barbecue for about 6 minutes at 250°C.

  1. Finely chop the spicy cucumber and smoked beetroot.
  2. Top the little gem with seroendeng, spicy cucumber, smoked beets, sesame seeds with ume, and dress with a little sesame oil.
